Hemingway uses colors to make the suggestions:
Yellow: denotes long or structurally complex sentences, and suggests to cut them into a few.
Red: the sentences, which might confuse the reader. Better rewrite.
Purple: those words usually have simpler alternatives
Blue: words, that can be omitted. Such as some adverbs or weak and hesitant language.
Green: passive voice detected:) in some cases it is really appropriate, so do not blindly rely on the app. Though in most cases, it’s actually better to use active voice.
