What’s New at Gepard PIM: October Updates
October was an action-packed month for us at Gepard PIM! We’ve rolled out some exciting updates that’ll make your product data management smoother, smarter, and way more efficient. Let’s discover what’s new.
#1. Channel Readiness Preview: Your First Step to Market Monitoring
We’re thrilled to unveil the Channel Readiness Preview, a helpful feature for anyone juggling multiple sales channels like Amazon, Migros, Google Shop, EPREL, and other channels simultaneously.
- What does it do? It gives a complete overview of how compliant your products are with the requirements of your target channels. Missing data? Misaligned attributes? You’ll see it all.
- Why it’s revolutionary? From one single taxonomy (without switching between different systems), you can control the quality of your product data across all your channels.
- The Big Picture? This feature lays the groundwork for comprehensive market monitoring, ensuring your products meet marketplace standards effortlessly.
#2. Data Quality Reports Get a Major Glow-Up!
If you’re obsessed with clean, top-notch data (and who isn’t?), you’ll love our beefed-up Data Quality Report. Here’s what’s new:
- Sharper Mapping Insights: Spot mismatches between your product categories and attributes like a pro.
- Missing Data Alerts: See what’s holding your products back — missing attributes, categories, or values? No problem!
- Custom Reports: Need data for just a couple of categories or a specific timeframe? Done!
What’s more:
- We’ve added email delivery so you get these reports directly in your inbox every two weeks (or whenever you prefer).
- Future plans? Expect multi-format reports (PDF, anyone?) and options to send them to multiple recipients.
#3. Smarter Media Validation (Bye, Rejected Images!)
Big news for those in the lighting industry (or anyone picky about media compliance). We’ve added spectrum graph validation for lamp categories.
- What’s a spectrum graph? It’s a critical image showing lighting specifications.
- What’s new? Now, these images are validated for resolution, size, and format directly within Gepard. No more rejections for simple mistakes!
This feature currently supports lighting categories but could expand to others. Got suggestions? We’re all ears!
#4. AI Mapping Suggestions: Now Smarter and More Flexible
Our AI-powered mapping just got a major upgrade! While this feature has been part of Gepard PIM for a while, we’ve added enhancements to make it even better.
- Refined Suggestions: The AI now provides more accurate mapping recommendations for attributes, brands, and categories based on improved algorithms and user feedback.
- Enhanced Flexibility: You can adjust the number of suggestions displayed, helping you tailor the AI’s output to your specific needs.
- Clearer User Interface: The mapping table has been restructured to better display AI-driven suggestions, making it easier to review and accept them.
- Seamless Integration: AI-suggested mappings are now seamlessly flagged and tracked, ensuring you have full visibility over changes made by AI and the ability to overwrite them if needed.

Let's embark on a journey to explore what AI mappings are, how they function, and the multitude of benefits they bring to your operations.
#5. Multi-Locale Imports: Bring on the Global Data
Managing multi-regional data is a headache no more. Our multi-locale import tool now supports importing data for different languages and regions in one go. Here’s how:
- Multiple Sheets: Map your Excel sheets to different locales for seamless uploads.
- Comprehensive Support: Bullet points, descriptions, attributes — it’s all there, neatly organized by locale.
November’s updates bring us one step closer to making product information management as seamless as it should be. From smarter mapping and better validation to error-proof processes and Channel Readiness Preview feature, we’re here to make your life easier.
