A platform account contains complete information on a user and tenants assigned to the PIM user. The account is used to manage the user information.

The database structure allows assigning multiple tenants to the account, where the custom account, the profile, contains the information essential for and applicable to the PIM user’s interaction with a particular tenant. For instance, the profile can be used to keep the information on retail shops assigned to the user for managing them.

Further, you should require to disable a user’s access to a particular tenant, deactivate the applicable profile, keeping the user’s account active to interact with the platform.
